Draft of Draft after ctrl-enter

If I edit a tiddler and add a new field by typing the name and value and , then if immediately after this I type ctrl-enter, then instead of accepting the edit, a draft of the draft is created.

This is kind of annoying since usually I type in the content, then add the fields and then would like to save by ctrl-enter.

Another, smaller annoyance is that if I type in a field name and value and then ctrl-enter (without enter before), I would expect the tiddler to be saved with the value, but only the field name is saved, with an empty value.

If anyone knows how to solve this, I would very much appreciate, as I don’t know how to even start to trace this issue.

Please try tiddlywiki.com where I could not reproduce the above, they all did as you expect.

The just in case upgrade your wiki to 5.2.3 and see if it still occurs

  • There is at least one field / value entry issue resolved in 5.2.3

I cannot reproduce this on TW 5.2.3

After I type in the value of a field and press enter, ctr-enter does not do anything at all unless I click on a field or the text box - can you provide a bit more detail on how you are doing this - and also:

  • is this a new tiddler or a tiddler with a lot of text and/or fields

  • what version of tw and what op-sys are you using.
