Grrr. Spent two hours of my life trying to track down and build solutions to actually compiling Timimi for a platform that I don’t even use, and here’s my thanks
I would absolutely love to hear from someone who knows how to use Windows Nullsoft Scriptable Install System (NSIS).
There is a setting, which was set to 20% of posts in a thread. I did not know about this setting. I have never seen this message. – I may have “received” it, but I usually ignore any of those messages. I do not even read them.
I did set it to 80% now. Which should pretty much disable it.
There was also a note that suggested I should combine my new post with an existing post.
But I know Jeremy has mentioned that he prefers that existing posts not be edited, because then they don’t show up in the email.
So based on a built-in opinion that everyone should primarily use the web interface the system is encouraging behaviour that actually the key owner/operator would like to discourage.
