hear are some of the (usability) reasons
the “fancy” ui brakes and hijacks browser full text search (ctrl-f)
– ftr to fix text searching of posts disabling java-script works
its not afaik possible to
search @ .talk.tiddlywiki.org/search without java-script enabled
i would like to keep a copy of post and search-results
to reduce my reliance on forum and reduce my use of bandwidth/resource’s

on low ram machines you have to tell them

scrolling topic can be slow/laggy for me because
of the wonderful web-page-scripting required
( i mean i hope its not mining bitcoin in a worker thread
but how any one can tell that is not the case idk )
