Collaborative Recipes TiddlyWiki (Case Study)

Project in the works.

Might be a useful model for TiddlyWiki documentation. (That idea is not mine! Permission for attribution pending!)

an environment to elucidate best practices (more so architectural, less so dogmatic process/workflow) which facilitate a multi-user environment in a “bare-bones” nodejs TiddlyWiki

Details in this GG post.

(Please, although I much prefer GG, do reply here if you prefer. I regularly visit TiddlyTalk for short stints…)

Hi Charlie,
I’m looking forward to your Collaborative Recipes.
I liked both examples (Yours and Erics) but I’m still unsure on how this can be scaled up. My first thoughts were to use checkboxes but these will soon grow to a large list unless they can be grouped in some way.
Maybe spices, vegetables, sauces etc in a similar manner to your tag selector or the details / subsume approach.

My other thoughts were on Template style. Once a design is achieved, it may force the structure or architecture of the data.

If it’s ok with you, I prefer to use talk.tiddlywiki.org rather than GG for discussion as I removed my account from GG.

Hopefully this project will pick up speed and show how tiddlywiki discussions can be used to the full.

Keep up the good work.

Scot

Yeah yeah, by all means. I encourage folk to use what works best for them (tools, workflows,what-have-you.)

When I have anything worthy of mentioning, I’ll use GG and add an update message here.

Thanks Charlie,
Scot
