Canonical uri to external file

Can I use the _canonical_uri facility to link to a file hosted on another server, ie. Dropbox?

I have tried to insert the Dropbox link to the file but it does not appear to want to load the file when I view the Tiddler

The type field is application/pdf.
The file link is
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/f8n7cq1zj9q4e6vxw60g0/CS70.pdf?rlkey=z7bonhpkn1pm6f3ppq4o2lzyi&dl=0

Any clues?

Generally it has to be a link to a file on a server that works as a webhost. Dropbox turned off that ability for free accounts years ago.

Try replacing dl=0 with raw=1 at the end of your url. That gets lots of dropbox stuff working.
