I have Tiddlywiki 5.2.2 as a plain HTML file which I use via Brave Browser. I have Windows 10.
Here’s the process of how I found the bug.
- I used a screen shot program (Prtscn) to make a screen shot of a browser window. I believe this puts the image in the Windows clipboard.
- I put a tiddler in Edit mode and the tiddler is using the TW markup language.
- I put my cursor in the tiddler where I wanted to paste the image and hit CTRL-V. A TW Import dialog appeared although I had to scroll up to find it. The default image name is “image.png” but I wanted to change that.
- I clicked the Edit (pencil) button in the popup window for the image. I renamed the image to “myimage.png”.
- I clicked OK on the image
pasteImport dialog. - TW ignored my renamed image and saved the image under “image.png”. It did place the correct “image.png” in the tiddler.
Another issue: When I am in a tiddler in edit mode and click the “insert image” button, a list of images appears but they are way to small for me to see what they are.
