Just a little note to others struggling to say that I found that, for me, when using bob.exe, .tid files aren’t converted to .json if a single-line field becomes multiline.
With standard node.js TW5, the same edit results in the .tid being converted to a .json file (correctly, as I understand it). Related to https://groups.google.com/g/tiddlywiki/c/H1CAnuKWgng perhaps.
It’s highly likely there is a configuration setting I’m missing but as I didn’t need other bob functions I cut my losses and switched back to standard node.
