Hope I haven’t overwhelmed the site with blackboards. Clone them and place the tiddlers into your story river. Use a white “chalk” with an opacity of .02.

There’s a cork board available here: Pinboard 1.3.0 — create sticky notice board. Not sure, but maybe you could use it there.
I do like the pinboard, but I do not like, how the Cork-image tiles. So I did create a new image that tiles much better.
It is a Webp image so it should be smaller than a JPEG. (Right-click “Save image as …” should save it as a .webp image 32kB)
Finally had chance to download and try. That’s cool. A blackboard background you can scribble on!
