Binge Programming

This is a lite hearted discussion about “Binge Programming”.

In a moment of clarity, you all of a sudden get an epiphany - greatest idea Ever! - can make the the bestest software PIZZA on the planet! All you need to do is code it. But - it’s gonna take time.

Got places to go, people to see, things to do; time is compressed - but you must code this - otherwise will fester in the recesses of your mind.

So can’t sleep, end up being late for work, having brain drain, nobody understands that I gotta do this. Logically know the effort is futile. But must tread on. Gotta do it to be complete and get this damn thing outta my head!

I have gone days without sleep, interaction, food (well coffee) - just to code!

This happen to you?

Yup, live and breathe that stuff. An all-consuming thing.

yeap, a way of life!

Building things make human happy, that is why human become the dominant species on Earth.

I did write code around the clock before, but later I found some programs need months to complete, so I decided to write in a more continuable way now…write a bit every night

Binge Programming (in TiddlyWiki) a daily even for me!

Odds on you have a daily event!

More seriously, I do see that TW can become an obsession.
Rightly so, in a way: it is a very rich “environment” for “codeistas”???

TT

Also tiddlywiki can be everything else you need around a software platform such as workflow, sdk, editor, database, debuger and more but most importiantly its easy to play with and develop concepts at or above the application layer, test concepts and ui tools rarely found elsewhere all at the same time. I also belive it is a key to democratising software.

Now i must find a way to earn a buck from it so i have an income.

I think i may need professional help for my OCtwD

Relax Tones, you don’t have OCD. If you did you’d spell it CDO so the letters are in alphabetical order like they damn well should be

Case in point. Built with BASIC Anywhere Machine and exported via native and custom TiddlyWiki export: Fedora Hat.

View the source code.
Run the program.

Curiously, an anagram of “dyslexia” is “sex daily”
