Attaching tiddlywiki relevant files

Folks,

I was just asked to assist, my solution would be to attach a JSON file of my macros/button however JSON files can’t be attached. Even If I add A .txt extension.

Sorry, the file you are trying to upload is not authorized (authorized extensions: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, heic, heif, webp).

I hope we can whitelist JSON files because it was so good in GG to download, even to a scratch folder, then at the bottom of chrome or in the downloads folder in FireFox just drag and drop a JSON file on a Wiki.

Can we upload zipped files?
No, I tried it now :frowning:

Yes, we can probably whitelist .tid. I think JSON should be OK as a plain text format. Both are now enabled.

Are there any other common TW extensions?

Zip files cannot, those can be filled with nasty surprises. GG runs an anti-virus / file scanner I believe.

Ok, Thanks

Just tested attaching JSON work nicely

Could text and csv files be permitted, even PDF and or html (A TiddlyWiki)?

Perhaps we can’t accept zipfiles, but since tiddlywiki can create zips could we have an acceptable zip file? Eg only contains particular file types?

HTML can embed all sorts of things, so not that.

Staff have extended access to some file types.

Let’s wait and see the need for others. Text and CSV can both be embedded in posts directly.

Nope.
