Anyone else having trouble drag/dropping on chromium?

Chromium Version 97.0.4692.71 , xubuntu 18.04

Can’t seem to drag/drop anything (e.g. open tab) using tiddlywiki .com (5.2.1)

Thanks!

Chrome 97 + Win10 + TW5.2.1 works fine!

I forget when this started, but here’s the behaviour change I noticed.

On my Chromebook (Chrome OS being Linux-based):

Before, I used to be able to click a file (and hold the click) for dragging and dropping.

Now, I have to click on the file once to select it, then click it a second time (and hold the click) for dragging and dropping.

Using Chrome (not just Chromium) vsn 97, on xubuntu 18.04 I’m not able to re-arrange open items on tiddlywiki .com. This effects everything involving drag/drop including tiddler/object import – the green import bar doesn’t appear.

Edit: Rolling back to a 96 vsn restores drag/drop.

Chrome 97.0.4692.71 on Ubuntu 18.04, no issues with drag and drop from some quick testing.

That’s odd – because other people are reporting problems with drag/drop of tabs. Can you drag/drop a tab without creating a window? It might be some setting works with the bug. Apparently the developers have acknowledged the bug and say the fix is in. When I download the beta, everything works fine again. But it’s a dev version, so don’t know how much overhead there is. Also, when I downloaded older versions they worked fine. But I couldn’t find an older version that wasn’t also a dev version. Guess I’ll use the beta (99) until the real thing is released.

Thanks!

Both dragging Chrome tabs and drag and drop within TW work just fine. It may be that the bug only impacts a subset of users depending on other software/hardware, e.g. Ubuntu vs Xubuntu.

Works fine for me too, however Exporting tiddlers from upgraded and empty 5.2.1 is causing an AW Snap Issues observed in 5.2.1
