Announcing TiddlyDesktop v0.0.15

New releases of TiddlyDesktop have tended to be infrequent. This release is prompted by @telumire’s contribution of searching and tagging for the wiki list window, an incredibly useful feature for users managing lots of wikis.

There are also some other useful updates and bug releases:

  • Update to nwjs v0.71.0
  • Add search and tag support for the wikilist
  • Fix for issue opening a second instance TiddlyDesktop on Windows
  • Fix for alert/confirm/prompt within iframes
  • Fix wiki window positions not being restored

The new release can be downloaded from Release Fifteenth Release · TiddlyWiki/TiddlyDesktop · GitHub

Please exercise caution as with any upgrade.

Thanks again to @telumire.

How do I get an image there?

Thanks, Stefan

Within your wikis, create an image tiddler titled $:/favicon.ico. It will also become the tiny icon shown in the browser window title bar and/or taskbar.

This never worked for me before…until today. I finally realized that the image needs to be embedded rather than externally linked to. Now it works…

…and the image does not need to be an actual icon file, I used a PNG.

@telumire the tags is a very nice enhancements! I installed only recently in 0.0.14. Glad to see it has made it in!
