Announcing the release of TiddlyWiki v5.4.1

I am delighted to announce the release of TiddlyWiki v5.4.1 at:

https://tiddlywiki.com

There are several important bug fixes for issues introduced in v5.4.0:

  • Fixed an issue where using the EventCatcher widget in a new window caused errors.
  • Fixed an issue with the handling of the minimum height of textareas.
  • Fixed invalid source positions in parse tree nodes.
  • Fixed reliablity and accuracy issues in the Freelinks plugin.
  • Fixed an issue with the SelectWidget when selecting multiple options.
  • Restored a missing font in the Katex plugin.
  • Updated Japanese and Polish translations

You can upgrade your existing single file wikis here:

https://tiddlywiki.com/upgrade.html

For Node.js users, the new version is available on npm at https://www.npmjs.com/package/tiddlywiki

As usual, please exercise caution when upgrading, and take care to keep backup copies of everything important.

My thanks to everyone who contributed to this release.

Any questions and comments are welcome here or via GitHub.

Best wishes

Is it safe to update 5.4.0 to 5.4.1 in context of this TiddlyWiki v5.4.0 Streams plugin is broken - #5 by pmario ?

The workaround makes the Streams plugin functional with 5.4.0, but I’m using 5.4.0 for about two weeks only, hence the concern.

Save a copy, upgrade the copy.. Give it a test!

This works, but I’m afraid I’m past the point when it scales well (I’ve too many wikis, and since I still keep all the backups for 5.3.8, it may go out of control).
