AI as an excuse to avoid humanity?

I have being interested in AI since the 70’s and are very suspicious that “most AI today, is not at all AI”, but then the usage of an acronym tends to define the acronym.

Inspired by this post Note Taking and Artificial Intelligence of @Mohammad

  • Natural Intelligence can be applied to your data and behaviours to learn a lot, and this can be embedded in algorithm’s which may themself be artificial.
  • The basic business case for big data solutions such as Social media, is predicated on little or no human intervention (because that costs money) and thus these big players who build socially toxic environments, desperately need “Machine Learning” to do what is right without employing humans.
