Something does not sound right about the history i have read at that link. Its missing information like its cpm origins and IBM asking bill gates to deliver it.

I never used or saw dos v1 and possibly v2 but for context v1 did not even have folders on the file system.

I am not precious about which story is true mine or the one presented but I advise scepticism.
