I tinker a little but not too much. But I already had experience with too much tinkering on Emacs (where I have more than 2500 lines of configurations), so now I try to get more to the point x)

1. get X done
2. But I just need to do a little bit of Y
3. Y takes a bit longer than you thought,
   but hey, it’s fun! So…
4. Do a bit more Y
5. What was I going to do? Oh, X…
6. Go to 2.

It seems many people faced a similar challenge

BTW, I found playing with TW is a nice way to spend time at night after a whole day of work.
At least it is more than watching web videos.
