Tom Tiddler’s Ground – Word Histories

… is an interesting game, as well as a story by Charles Dickens.

Basically, “Tom Tiddler, stands on a heap of stones, gravel, etc.; other players rush onto the heap, crying “Here I am on Tom Tiddler’s ground,” while Tom tries to capture the invaders or keep them off.”

You are brilliant at finding things. Thank you!

Måns Mårtensson, Mr @Maans, composed that neat Tiddlywiki, Tiddlyverse jingle in 2015.

It is in “swing” tempo.

Following on from @Birthe I kinda think Tiddlywiki is quite chilled-out. Sort of Glenn Miller … Pennsylvania 6-5000 stuff …

@TiddlyTweeter look for @Maans, the composer. He is also the lovely teacher who got me into using Tiddlywiki

I think that comment is v. good & v. relevant. TW deeper stuff is not so easy.

Being voluntarily mentored is ace.

Update: April Mackenzie is currently visiting Tiddleywink, Wiltshire, UK.

I was disturbed to see that TIDD is a tax regime in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.

If I could render this in English I would. Franco Battiato’s INNERES AUGE (German title [Inner Eye], Italian singing) . E spiega Tiddlywiki.
