Preliminary idea verification

  • Another way to use images in tiddlywiki-app, which is somewhat similar to using the tiddlywiki files folder (I forgot whether the files folder supported by TiddlyWiki has performance issues). In tiddlywiki-app, this is an image upload mechanism implemented in Go and built directly into tiddlywiki-app. The upload folder path is configurable, and images are organized into subfolders by date by default for easy lookup. It also allows multiple wikis to share the same image folder without using symbolic links.

  • Obviously, this usage is limited to the tiddlywiki-app

Thats so sad… I am a regular user of Tiddlywiki app and my all wikis are served using this app…the app is stable. So I guess it will work ok for a few more years

@oeyoews can you guide how to update the wikis when a new version of Tiddlywiki is released. I do plan to use the app for some more time even if it is not getting updated

I adopted TiddlyWiki-app to run my key wiki which I moved from stand alone to folder based within tiddlywiki-app something like 6 to 12 months ago. Its working reliably and I am not asking it to do anything more complicated. Please @oeyoews if you are going to release something in the TiddlyWiki environment in the future. please mark something “experimental only”, or a “proof of concept” rather than like a “stable solution”, if you or the community are not in a position to maintain it for longer. In addition to the above I did put in some effort to test and feedback on the release of tiddlywiki-app and wonder to what end that was, for now.

Despite the above I have assisted other building of similar solutions in this case TiddlyDesktopTS, The Android version and the related Code-mirror 6 with multi-simultaneous editors.
