Tiddlypwa usage - wiki upload

Hello everyone,
I’ve recently started exploring the world of TiddlyWiki and have been experimenting with the TiddlyPWA tool (https://tiddly.packett.cool/). I’ve managed to host my own sync server on a Raspberry Pi, but I was wondering if it’s possible to upload a blank wiki without relying on the interface provided by Val Packet (the Tiddler called UploadApp). I imagine that if, for some reason, the Val Packet site went offline, there would be no way to upload new TiddlyWiki pages to my sync server. Have I got that right? Has anyone else encountered a similar problem?

You could always run the TiddlyPWA site yourself by pulling it from their git repo: valpackett/tiddlypwa: Secure offline storage and cross-device synchronization solution for TiddlyWiki 5 - Codeberg.org

The UploadApp tiddler is included in the tiddlypwa plugin. If you already have a wiki in tiddlypwa, you can find this tiddler in your wiki and use it: $:/plugins/valpackett/tiddlypwa/upload-app-form

You can get to the same form with these steps:

  • click on the save button
  • click on the save app wiki tab
  • click on Advanced options
