Silicon Valley is UTC-8… Sydney is UTC+10… a difference of 18 hours
Thus, 6:30pm Sydney time is only 12:30am here. I will most likely be awake.

Sydney is in daylight savings so I understand it’s a UTC +11 Eric, an hour later. you an I have started our chats around 4pm a couple of times.
Silicon Valley is using daylight saving time until Nov 2, so it’s currently UTC-7… still a difference of 18 hours.
I started some of our chats early just because I had nothing better to do

Actually, In 24hours plus I will open my zoom session for another informal Sydney TWIG although you can come from anywhere when the time suits you
