List of who applied emoticon never populates

Is anyone else seeing this?

Ever since the server upgrade, whenever I hover over the emoticons that are associated with a post (other than the heart emoji, which still works correctly) I get a spinning icon, and the list never appears to show me who applied the emoji (e.g. an emoji like :+1: ).

For me it’s working fine. Which browser, OS and browser plugins you are using.
May be one of your browser addOns is causing the problem.

Edit:

  • My first post was with Windows 11, FireFox and everything works fine
  • The edit has been done with FF on Ubuntu 24.04 - everything is fine here too

Same issue here, on Firefox (Android/Windows 10). I do use uBlock Origin, but I’ve done so for years; the reactions issue definitely coincided with the Discourse upgrade.

Update: The problem seems to occur specifically with the thumbs-up icon. I’m on linux, and have tested in Firefox and Chromium. On chromium I disabled extensions, and the problem still occurred.

I am seeing this in linux with firefox, if I click on the spinner then it stops and I see the name.

It would not have occurred to me to click on it. But indeed, same experience here! (Mac OS, Chrome)
