I don’t have that code anymore unfortunately, otherwise I would have shared it. I feel like on the topic of shortening things for ease of use and aethetics, it woul fit.
As initial author of this thread, I want to encourage this idea of short names for tags as well, even if just in its display. But I do not want this to detail the original concept of a very short title VST for longer tiddler titles.
- I especially want them available for separate lists (often fields) to allow drag and drop reorder without needing to list longer titles.
Note;
- I have already found a way to give tag pills an alternate label
- Using the caption field is also a way to provide a shorter title for display
- A custom view template title cascade allow allows such things to be introduced
