I would think that one message at the start of a browsing session would be less intrusive than using TiddlyDesktop. Maybe it’s a Linux thing, but I don’t think I ever get a warning message when the browser comes up.

Thanks Mark - that worked!

I do prefer Timimi vs. TiddlyDesktop, but mostly for a reason that I think might only impact me - the inability for it to recognize my corporate single-sign-on to make use of things like SharePoint images etc. That works fine when using a browser, but TiddlyDesktop doesn’t pick this up.

I am curious why TiddlyDesktop is not otherwise mentioned as the easy standard, is there some downside to it I’m not understanding? Maybe @DaveGifford can illustrate why leaving TiddlyWiki might be preferable to using TiddlyDesktop?

Haha sure: I’d give it a go!

I was trying to remember why too. I think … it’s always a bit buggy. I just tried twice in a row to drop a plugin (relink) onto a TW page. It crashed. Mind you, I didn’t even get as far as dropping it. It crashed before the drop. Before the green bar. So the problem wasn’t the contents.

This is the thing that impressed me the most about TiddlyDesktop, I gave up using it
