Can we create a tiddlywiki "find/search in page" button?

Like the browsers “find in page”, one we can pass the search string to?

  • Even reuse the browsers find functionality?
    • Or internally in tiddlywiki if we could search the displayed content only like freelinks plugin must be doing.
  • Find in page searches only the visible rendered content
  • Perhaps it can be triggered with a JavaScript browser function?

Why,
I just realised a way to easily render a full TableOfContents or other tree, such that one can easily search in page for content only visible after render.

Yes, also for TiddlyDesktop… asked in Search and Highlight Plugin - #26 by StS

Thanks @StS and @arunnbabu81 I am confident I will get what I need from your links.

I wonder if we can make content findable in page but not displayed? Just the jump to the place ahead of it?

Installed Plugin in empty wiki (using TidddyDesktop) → search result didn’t find anything when tiddler in edit mode (Draft of)
