I’m not really fond of this one because newcomers could mistake the breadcrumb with the tag bar

I do not like it either it’s way too visually aggressive

I don’t think you need a better word for parents, I think the breadcrumbs should lead BACK (left) through the notional hierarchy… you know, like they’ve come to be used conventionally.

Thanks talking to tw-FRed that’s actually an easy fix. … I was thinking too complicated and “didn’t see the forest by the trees”.
